So, another meme, this time with some of my OCs and something I love so much: Music.

Here, the explanations ^o^.

Pop: Johanna Dowson.
When I created Johanna I wasn't really sure about which kind of music she would listen, but ~AnitaOzora said she would fit very well with the music of Lady GaGa, especially because the style and the strange haircolours.
She likes pop, but I think she would also fit more like Michael Jackson or the early years of Christina Aguilera and Britney Spears, since she grew up with this kind of music.
I'm not so pop-ish anymore (although I love a lot some Japanese pop artists like Koda Kumi), but I grew up with the early Aguilera and early Spears, too, as well with more pop, until 2004 when I began to listen slowly more hard music (my jump to metal happened in late 2006-early 2007).
Other characters who can fit with this genre are Margareth Mathews or Ukyou Ayamaki.

Rock: Masaki.
This person, as a musician has a lot of influences of Japanese rock, mainly visual kei scene, as me in real life. His/her costumes show it very well. But, Masaki is also a very interesting listener of Western rock and punk.
I think on this part fits better Tiago do Río, but he's more into Brazilian rock (Cazuza, Mamonas Assassinas, Legião Urbana) or punk-rock like Green Day. Other character is Tomoe Nakede.

Metal: Kanaru.
My main character/self-insert loves metal. It represents very well my actual music tastes, that even in visual kei scene, fits more with metal sounded bands. But she's not so into subgenres like thrash metal. She's more into power metal like DragonForce, Rhapsody of Fire, Kamelot or Angra. She also likes stuff like Nightwish, or Epica. If you ask to me or to this character the typical question of "Metallica or Megadeth?" she will say "No thanks, I don't like thrash metal". But if you ask her "Metallica or Iron Maiden?" she definitively will answer Iron Maiden.
Other characters would be: Marina Cabrini, Shizuku, Júlia Montana or Katerina Hunter.

Classic: Dahlila Jackson.
More than a classical listener (Being a classicaly trained pianist), Dahlila is also a nice listener of movie soundtracks and any stuff with symphonical treatment. In the old music I would put some Mozart or Barroque stuff, mainly Vivaldi. As a listener of movie soundtracks I think Bernard Hermann is more her style, as well as Yann Tiersen. I can also talk about the "trailer music" and I think some Immediate Music is nice for her. I personally like Nino Rota and Antonio Pinto.

Hip-hop: Reika
I had a time when I listened so much rap and hip-hop, and I liked Eminem. Reika reminds me so much on her dresses to urban music, and I imagine her as an rapper on her spare time. Her movements, the fact she's a breakdancer... she's so urban music on her concept... I love her on this.
Unfortunately she hates reggaeton, btw .

Jazz: Maraia Loussel.
Like Reika, Maraia had since a beginning a very well defined favourite music genre. I imagine her in a saloon in New Orleans with her double bass playing some old jazz or swing. While I was drawing her today I was listening T-SQUARE, a really good Japanese jazz fussion band who is one of my favourite bands. Although honestly some Keiko Matsui would fit better her.

Genre of choice - Techno: Kasumi Satou.
One of my weaknesses is electronica. Any kind, mainly dance or techno. I think Kasumi Satou without techno is empty, especially without some technopop like Perfume (Those girls are the only idol Japanese pop girlband I like. And their technopop is very, very good) or Hot Chip (Those guys are epic).
Other character who has a lot of electronica is Kurai Nakata.
